Something about the flavor reminds me of a marinade from a steak I had once. It was the best steak I ever had. I get a grand feeling of nostalgia every time I take a sip. So far the best port I've had was the 2005 liquid love from Mitchell Katz in Livermore. The taste seemed more refined than the others I tasted. I look forward to my next event to compare and expand my pallet
MT

Comment on Red, White or Port?

Red of course!

Comment on Red, White or Port?

Only the best, my love!! Bold cabs with a lot of flavors, yum :) I also enjoy a nice flavorful port occasionally. But my standard is a good to very nice cab!!
I was in Napa in February, and stumbled on a fabulous cab... Oakville 2004 cabrabet sarvignon.. good with many tastes (olives, brie, sharp cheddar, chocolate, bread, etc.) I had a wonderful time celebrating my partner's brithday and it was a HIT!
